QER mode
This enables you to modify selected entities/ vertices/ edges/ faces: extrude, move, scale, rotate
First select desired thing then:
to move: tap/click on selected entity and move around while holding (to move vertices/edges/faces you do not need to click on them)
to scale: Use two fingers and them move fingers, or click on green boxes around and drag them (these are called pivot points)
to rotate: Enable Alternate mode: (click Alt in phone mode or hold Alt in desktop mode) the rotation cube will appear: Works only in side projection mode - you can rotate along all 3 axes - if you want to rotate around local X axis you need to click on object center local X axis - that means everywhere where red line is: (note these lines are invisible)
For rotation around local Y axis you do the same but you need to click on vertical line and move around
To rotate around local depth axis (usual rotation) click everywhere except on local X and Y axis and move around
For more accurate rotation use Edit > Rotate menu
To extrude: (there are two modes for extrusion and only one is used in qer mode)
Consider having only a box: now click everywhere outside that box and drag the finger and if your move is perpendicular to extruded face normal it will extrude the face along that move (extrusion vector is snapped to grid so you can get "Bad movement vector" indication (usually that means that snapped to grid extrusion vector is not perpendicular enough to any of the faces you want to extrude)
Snapping to already created models
There are times when you you have to move something to match model slope or vertex, to do that you enable snap mode. (See basics for button description), If you can't snap to an edge or vertex you will have to decrease the grid size. Priority for snap is Vertex then edges.
